I forgot to add the character profile of the main character, I'm dumb... but here we are, Burning Star's character profile!

Burning Star, The Black Alicorn of Fire
Real name: Dawn Sol "Burning" Star

Eyes: Dark Blue (Bright Blue when powered up)
Mane: Scarlet Red and Orange (Burning Orange when powered up)
Fur: Jet Black (Crimson Red when powered up)
Cutie Mark: A Red and Orange Five/Six Pointed Star of Flames, similar to the Japanese Kanji for Fire.
Background: Burning Star (Dawn Star) was born an Alicorn to Fire Pan the Unicorn, and Dawn Wings the Pegasus, in the Village known as Firebrand. Despite his Alicornhood, he was tormented as a foal, causing him to become bitter and angry at the world. When his father finally snapped and kicked him out for one night, he lost any care for him. He hid his wings under a cloak so he couldn't be mocked anymore. He overcame his father's unintentional maltreatment and became the hero of the village...
Until the day Changelings Attacked and killed his parents, and his brother was missing. Absolutely Furious, Burning Star gained his Cutie Mark, a star of Fire, and incinerated everything in sight. Now an outcast of his village, Burning Star donned his cloak again and fled to the Frozen North.
Apprentice of King Sombra: When King Sombra returned, he was immediately attacked by Burning Star, who became King Sombra's apprentice when the Shadow King offered him a chance to become unbelievably powerful, Burning Star was named Dark Star of Shadows by the King, and underwent four years of training in both light and dark magic, all the while keeping his identity as an Alicorn hidden.
A change of heart: After King Sombra betrayed Burning Star and abandoned him for Twilight Sparkle, Burning Star decided to change to the side of good in order to get back at his former mentor, becoming a student to Twilight after he was beaten by her in a magic duel. He eventually helped defeat Daybreaker and King Sombra, and after revealing himself to be an Alicorn, became the Main 6's figurative "ace in the hole," and continues to take on threats to Equestria to this day.
Powers: Being an Alicorn, Burning Star has the attributes of all Pony species such as the strength of an Earth Pony, the wings and ability to fly of the Pegasus, and the ability to use Magic of the Unicorn. The are heavily enhanced by his Alicornhood, giving him an edge over them. He is proficient in both Light and Dark Magic, can move tremendous amounts of weight, and can fly at speeds nearing the speed of sound. He is proficient in both armed and unarmed combat as well, preferring to use large swords and the zwielhanded (two handed) stance.
Fired Up: Burning Star's most unique ability is that he is one of the six Masters of Nature, possessing mastery of the Fire Element. These powers allow him to unleash fireballs from his horn, breathe fire like a dragon, and conjure up dozens of other fire based attacks, even lighting his own body on fire. Unlike Fire Magic, his fire powers run solely off of his stamina, and thus he has no need to exhaust his magic supply.
Weaknesses: His fire powers are weakened if it is raining or there isn't hydrogen and oxygen in the air. While he is proficient in both Light and Dark Magic, it is mainly combat magic and thus is not the best with utility based magic such as levitation and telekinesis.
