With DACA and immigration being hotly debated, watch this video by the brilliant Abby Martin, an investigative journalist

I encourage you to watch more of the Empire Files. They do more outranking work on human rights abuses the U.S. does or is complicit in. I was especially disgusted when I saw border patrol officers destroying humanitarian aid.

Here is more coverage I highly recommend you to watch

    On Starlight Glimmer and Spike

Starlight Glimmer’s existence, for the most part especially in secondary roles, could basically be swapped for Spike and nothing would really change is my main gripe. Like if you swap Starlight with Spike In Fame and Misfortune nothing would change. Like it makes sense when M.A. Larson said Fame and Misfortune was originally for season five with Spike in what was Starlight’s role and the

G5 MLP and the end of MLP

So there are two more seasons left of MLP. Sad to see it go, but it’s for the best. I don’t want MLP to be the new Spongebob or Simpsons, both going downhill after the first Spongebob movie and after eight Simpson season respectively and both of the shows just need to end. While My Little Pony is a very solid and enjoyable show, not screaming “BUY OUR TOYS!” and it just grows onto you after the

On Starlight Glimmer and Spike · 2:23am Jan 9th, 2018

Starlight Glimmer’s existence, for the most part especially in secondary roles, could basically be swapped for Spike and nothing would really change is my main gripe. Like if you swap Starlight with Spike In Fame and Misfortune nothing would change. Like it makes sense when M.A. Larson said Fame and Misfortune was originally for season five with Spike in what was Starlight’s role and the criticism that Fluttershy repeats the same lesson of assertiveness over and over making sense as Filli Vanili was in season 4 that caught a lot of flak for repeating a lesson. Personally I wasn’t a big fan as Pinkie was out of character (being completely insensitive) and how Fluttershy’s stage fright was overwhelming for me (like when she is revealed to be the singer for Big Mac and she is surrounded by hallucinations). I like Starlight and how she’s a bit of a mad scientist. I think that’s cute and I liked her introduction as a villain. But I think how she was reformed, her backstory, and her return was handled very poorly. Much like Sunset shimmer, but unlike Sunset, her role as a reformed villain was handled even more poorly as with Sunset we see she is ostracized, but with Starlight she is immediately accepted as a good pony, even by the citizens of the town she put under a cult-like leadership. Even Discord we see the ponies are weary of him after his reformation. I liked how they handled Starlight’s character in No Second Prances, but mostly she feels like an awkward third wheel, or seventh wheel? She’s feels like another Sunset, but why she doesn't work as a foil to Twilight is because she’s shoved down our throats constantly. In the season six finale, the mane six and the princesses suddenly got their asses kicked by the changelings thus Starlight has to save them, making everyone seem weaker to suit the narrative of DHX doing damage control of the sizable hate Starlight got. They make everyone seem weak to suit the narrative really when it comes to Starlight. It took Tirek the combined strength of all the ponies of Equestria and Discord’s magic to go toe-to-toe with the combined strength of four alicorns, and now you are telling me one of them can’t bear a unicorn? It just seems they are trying too hard to make Starlight seem likable. Again this is why I am looking forward towards the reboot of MLP, because it gives MLP a fresh start.
