A Proper and Overdue Introduction. · 6:39pm Jan 7th, 2018
Hello, everyone. I am Wise Cracker. Here's everything relevant about me.
Favourite pony: Derpy, no contest.
Favourite pony design: Babs Seed, followed closely by colt Troublehooves.
Favourite episode: May the Best Pet Win!
Least favourite episode: couple of’em rub me the wrong way enough to not want to watch them a second time. Magical Mystery Cure, The Crystalling, That Thing Where Starlight Changes the Past… it’s personal preference, really. Love Mare Do Well, though, that one’s still awesome. None that I hate enough to want to have removed, though. Others enjoy them, not one to take that away.
Favourite anime: One Punch Man. No doubt about that. Not a big anime consumer anyway, but I will say Vampire Hunter D (original and Bloodlust) comes a close second for the sheer amounts of WTF-ery. Who'd have thought you could put zombies, a werewolf, a western, and a space shuttle launch into the same vampire movie?
Favourite story, in English: King Solomon's Mines. Would be mandatory reading if I were despot.
Favourite manga: considering you'd need as many manga books as some players have trading cards just to finish a series... I'm gonna have to pass on that one. I do have the Death Note series, though, that one was nice and digestible.
Favourite animated film: How to Train Your Dragon 1. Masterpiece in terms of plot, animation, effects, the works. The sequel was, umm... not. To put it gently.
Most overrated franchise ever: Harry Potter. Star Wars a close second, but that at least had some excuse.
Most underrated franchise ever: Niko. The reindeer one, not the Grand Theft Auto one.
If you could be any superhero you'd choose to be: Green Lantern. Lots of potential to do good, gotta be creative with your powers, get to hang out and just talk to dudes and dudettes from other worlds. Sign me up.
If you were turned into a superhero befitting your personality you'd probably end up as: a good-guy variant mix of Nowhere Man, Everywhere Man and/or the Time Commander. My signature move would be punching people from angles that cannot be pointed to. Either that or a dementist from Magic: the Gathering. Odyssey block, look it up if you're curious.
I didn't realize you were a Derp-loving would-be Green Lantern. I had no idea realize your taste was so good!

Well... Derpy's just the cutest, is all. I can sympathise with someone who wants to do the right thing but might not see a way how. I've learned over time her type of character and conflict is my default, if that makes any sense. In fact, my first story was going to be a Derpy one. It was scrapped for all the right reasons, though.
As for Green Lantern: saw some of the animated adaptations of him, especially the CG one. I liked what I saw. Here you have superheroes of a diverse background, with employers. You can explore the conflict of lawfulness versus good in a different way than usual. Normally there's law enforcement and the heroes are working on the sidelines, skirting law. With Green Lanterns they're lawmakers who don't actually write down the law. It's like angels arguing with God over what's right.
I mean, in hindsight, I might settle for Animal Man's powers, too, but they're so inconsistent it's just not worth bothering.
Plus, no mandatory orphanage visit or bloodline requirements. And a steady job. But that last one's totally not important
