The Last Jedi Sucks · 6:27pm Jan 7th, 2018
A long time ago in a galaxy far far away... so let's bring up today's issues and force PC crap down your throat.
Yeah, that's not the Star Wars I knew.
It hurts to hear the awful characters with boring monotone voices, devoid of emotion. I could go on about much more reasons over why I hate it, but I rather not waste time on this trash. But I will say, Disney has ruined Star Wars.
Yeah, it was pretty terrible.
well only hardcore fans hate it so thats about 50% of you guys
I can't fully...bring myself to say it was the worst thing ever, because it did have some really cool moments. But man there was just SO much wrong with it that even in the movie I was starting to get annoyed, usually that happens a few days after when I've been thinking about it. And while I wont say it ruined Star Wars, I can say I pretty much have no interest in seeing the next one (which may as well be the same thing).
The Sue Awakens
The Last of the Original Trilogy
The Resistance against
Trumpthe First OrderOverall I didn't like it but I will admit it did have some good parts if the casino scene wasn't in there and a few plots holes fixed it would be good, but I don't understand this whole rey is a mary sue thing, luke wasn't that much better
counter argument against your opinion
I knew it was going to be terrible. After watching the Force Awakens and being let down, I gave Rouge One a shot and was let down by that... Though that ending scene with Vader was pretty cool. Other than that scene the rest was trash.
Eh... This kinda had to happen either way. The idea that there are a lot of cultists out there you can pander to by just bringing up the tennets of their faith is incredibly enticing when the cult encompasses millions of people (and thus add millions of viewers), and given that the movies were probably written as a trilogie too, that means they were made back when social justice didn't have too many people actively disliking it and that the next movie is inevitable gonna burn the same way.
That said, the movie could've been a lot worse and it's not like there is nothing there when you look behind the issues. Some of the designs are really fun, if over the top (personally, I find the idea of Kylo's handguard-lasersword funny, if a bit misguided). However, it is a Star Wars, and an official one at that, so "just acceptable" doesn't really cut it. If it didn't have the IP... who knows, reception might've been a lot better...
The only thing I appreciate about it was the kickass stormtrooper designs
To be honest, I'm not even a Star Wars fan (not for lack of trying, just not my thing), but I'm not surprised, I suspected it somewhat from when I first heard Disney would take over, they would not be a company I would trust with that kind of franchise I feel for all fans of the franchise out there who have been disappointed by this (to me at least) ridiculous change
Hasn't Star Wars been 'ruined' four or five times now, by crappy movies, and also long droughts of any movies in theaters?

As opposed to all the other franchises they own, like everything under Marvel or Pixar? Or all the million-dollar movies they've been making themselves?
