As I very closely begin to approach my fourth year on this site, I continually find myself looking back at the story that started it all, Equine Fall. And I continually remember my very first author's note to you all:
Hopefully only A/N here. I just wanted to say that although this is the first fanfic that I'm posting to FiM Fiction, it is not the first fanfic I've written. I have great ideas and visions for this story, and I will see it though to the end, no matter how long the gaps between each chapter are, just stay focused knowing that there always will be a new chapter coming eventually, until that yellow "incomplete" turns green.

I can't help but feel that promise is very close to breaking.
So my new year's resolution for 2018 is to finish this damn story. I spent the last few hours detailing out the massive plot that this story was meant to be, from start to finish. The rest of the chapters in Equine Fall are all planned out in minute detail, so all I have to do is make it sound pretty, and make sense.
But that's not all. I recently read my own story, and cringed. The entire time. (Especially that watersports scene. Wtf was that? I don't even remember writing it.) The beginning is all over the place. It doesn't know whether to focus on the TwiDash subplot, or the actual story. So, over time, I'll be editing it. Making it flow better. Getting rid of random fetish scenes. You know, the usual stuff.
Hopefully, by the time 2019 rolls around, I will have completed this story, or at least have come very close to it. That's my New Year's resolution, and I hope to be able to fulfill my initial promise to you all...
I have many plans, some possibly way to big for a young, amateur writer such as myself to achieve. But I will see the one's I start though to the end, no matter how long it takes, no matter how long the gaps in between the chapters are. I will always try to come back to it, and finish what I started. Just know that there will always be more of a story coming, until that annoying yellow "incomplete" tag turns green.
