January 2018: End of an Era · 10:22am Jan 5th, 2018
I debated with myself on making this blog. I really did, and at first I simply wasn't... Then I realized that no matter how I slice it I'm far to enamored with this damn site to ever leave. Plus I know so many people here, so...But regardless, for the foreseeable future: I'm done.
No more blogs, no more story ideas, no more halfassed attempts to write... I am going back to what I call myself: A lurker.
You might wonder why, and I'l tell you right now there are many, many, many reasons. Not a single one is due to anyone on the site. For the most part, at least. It's mostly time based, really. With two jobs and next to no time to even sleep I can't really do anything at the moment. I hope to eventually change that.
Honestly, if you didn't see this coming since mid of last year, you're more oblivious than I am. Plus while at BC this year, I didn't really have as much fun as the last times around. Yes, I liked seeing the people and friends I've come to know but... Something felt off. Then later on other things occurred, and well... Here we are.
Let me make it clear, though. I said I was "done", I did not say I was leaving. There is a difference. I still support the site, I still love these goddamn ponies, and I still like you all. You're stuck with me for awhile longer.
...Yeah. All I got. Oh, dunno if I'll go to BC this year. We'll see.

I've fallen in and out of the fandom several times (Everybody's end of year retrospectives made me go back and count stories written in any given year, and there's like three years with zero) so I understand. I am sad I've had to miss the last couple of Bronycons, it sounds like they're shrinking now, which makes me think I may not make another one, alas.
