Silver Spoon's origins

So recently I was play the My Little Pony mobile game, an I noticed Silver Spoon talking and dancing with another character: the Foal version of Limestone Pie. That's when I noticed the similarities in the coloring between Silvia and the Pie Sisters and made me ask: what if Silver Spoon is adopted. Maybe the Pie family couldn't afford another mouth to feed so they put their youngest daughter up for adoption? That could explain why Pinkie lives in Ponyville and not on the rock farm, she wants to watch over her baby sister. Maybe I'll write a fanfic about this theory. Silver Spoon is one of my favorite characters. What are your thoughts?
