Hello there!
I've been looking over my past blogs, and noticing a trend: personal blogs got more attention than the ones stating "I've published a story; go read it for me!" This can't be a coincidence. No, not with over a hundred blogs.
Perhaps I should be a little more "personal" with you all. Getting a glimpse into one's daily life might enable you to understand them a little more, maybe even connect to them. I imagine that's where friendships start.
I think I should also involve you all more in my story-writing - that is, asking you for advice on what I should do next. After all, it's not about me, it's about what the fanbase wants and desires to read.
Sure, I should write what I like, but what if I like writing what everyone else wants me to to? Clever, eh? Eh, not so much.
On my userpage is a list of goals: last year's goals, and goals for the next few years. I will reorganize them, getting rid of fulfilled goals and setting up a list of new goals for this year. I have a goal I would really like to see reached this year: 1000 followers.
Crazy, right? I know. But I believe it's possible. I'll be pushing out more work for this year. I'd like to get off my lazy bum and get to drawing, too. With the amount of people who tell me I'm a talented artist, how could I not?
Furthermore, I believe I can reach my 1000-follower goal with the help of you guys. I'm sure some of you have been responsible for spreading the word about me, maybe even a secret shout-out to get the ball rolling a little, right? 
Lastly, I plan on socializing here far more than I did last year. I was admittedly kinda dead. But I think this year, with the exception of work, I have no excuses for not chatting with people about anything. I'd really like to start a few strong friendships here. I get lonely sometimes, you know? I see other tight-knit groups of friends and I can't help but feel a pang of jealousy. Being introverted doesn't help my case, either.
All that aside, I believe this year will be my greatest. I will strive to accomplish my goals instead of hoping to reach them. My attitude this year is, "I will reach my goals!"
I hope you all have similar (but not the same; don't copy me 
) goals to reach for this year. Don't sell yourselves short; you're all capable of greatness if only you'll put your mind to it. And effort. Boy, does it take effort. But I'd like to see the look on your face if you're shooting for the featured box and you make it; or you're wanting to hit that century mark in followers and you work hard for it, then, it happens. Success feels amazing. Like nothing else in the world. Don't you want to experience that with me?

I'm sure you can reach your goals for the year. And you're right most people prefer a more personal blog obver one that says you posted a story, because if there following you so they see the blog for the story they got told the story posted when it went up. SO theres no real reason to check it out. And about making friends he only real way to do it is to just be there and talk to them. It may seam a little scary at first but you'll find out that most of us are pretty layed back for the most part.
I know you'll be able to reach your goals this year! You can reach any goal as long as you put your mind to it! (Also 4th line, grammar check lol.)
