Wow. Do I have a lot to own up for with this post. I have a few things to talk about with all you guys. First off, to address the rather blatant elephant in the room . . .

I know it's been a really long time since I've been especially active here. Over two years, holy $#!%. Cue usual boring "sorry I haven't been posting much lately" blog post that everyone seems to have to give at some point. I won't go into detail about why I haven't been here, considering there are a lot of them, nor can I guarantee I'll be as active as I once was. Even so, I wouldn't be posting something here unless I had something at least half poignant to say.
I write because I enjoy the process. If I didn't, I wouldn't be here. I wouldn't be preparing things to publish even though a good 80% of the people following me have probably left the site. (By the way, if you're still a follower and you're still interested, you're awesome!) And certainly, I wouldn't have been agonizing over a certain story series I've published, thinking about a certain blog post wherein I teased that I wasn't quite finished yet.
I don't have a lot of principles when it comes to writing and posting stuff, but I have a few. One, don't post anything you're not proud of. (The fact that stories on Fimfiction don't make any money is no excuse to disrespect your readers.) Two, post stories "Complete," or have concrete plans to finish "Incomplete" stories. (I have a particular dislike for perpetually "Incomplete" and "On Hiatus" stories.) And three, don't make empty promises.
I keep to my principles.
Followers, favoriters, and casual passers-by, I introduce the Flarity "O" Series, the sequel to the (mildly) successful "L" Series! Fluttershy and Rarity return with a new cast of characters to complicate their budding romance, and as their love is wont to cause, drama will be abound. But the greatest source of it will not come from others, but themselves.
