Possible Cancellation and a Future Collaboration (TDMAIE update) · 6:27pm Oct 20th, 2012
Recently my best friend has put up a bit of a proposition for me. He wants me to work on a collab story with him, completely unrelated to Friendship is Magic. Because of this, I may or may not ditch The Dragonborn's Magical Adventure in Equestria, which to be honest I've been thinking of for a while. It's not that I'm unhappy I've gotten such a good reception for it, but for the simple fact that writing Fanfiction isn't all that fun. It's good when you just want to write a pointless small story for fun, but once you try to make a commitment.... it all goes down the gutter.
That said, I'm still writing now, and I've got about 500 words of chapter 6 done today and I should have it done soon, if all goes well, but don't expect this story to actually get finished. On that note, would you be interested in my collab even if it isn't pony related in the slightest? I mean, not on this site, obviously, but just, I dunno, would you? Just asking.
So yeah, that's all. Thanks for reading.

Oh, and if anyone here knows how to draw, could you possibly consider making me a cover art for TDMAIE, which I am still working on right now. It'd mean a lot to me.
I guess it really depends on the genre for me, I have fairly broad interests but there are some that I just don't really enjoy, no matter the quality. If I do, it might be sporadic checking since I wouldn't have the nice favorite notifications on any updates, but it'd still happen.
In other words, what's the basic concept/description? No major plot points needed, but basic setting and genre info would be nice.
Depends on what it's on.
And nooooooooo don't cancel you twat!

For the purpose of this comment assume that it is a genre you like. Okay? Well, I'm not so much asking if you'd read it depending on the genre, I'm asking you if you'd read it because I wrote (half of) it. Now, that said, genre does have a large say in that, but for now lets just assume that it doesn't, would you check it out, if genres didn't exist?

As I said to the above commenter, if it was the genre you like, would you read it if I simply asked you to, or to restate that, would you read it if I wrote it. As for your objection towards me canceling TDMAIE, I'm actually extremely unhappy with it. The plot is going nowhere, the narrative is literally oxymoronic (first person narrator, third person main character), and as much as I love all my followers and likers (you guys fucking rock) I am still thinking about just tossing up my hands in defeat and just discarding it. Sorry if you're unhappy about that, I'm not trying to annoy people.
436361 Well yeah if it was the genre I liked.
If you wrote it then I'd be a bit more open to what it is.
TDMAIE is a hell of a lot better then a lot of the other Elder Scrolls/MLPFiM X-Overs out there.

If there is a link to the first chapter, and I see that blogpost, almost definitely going to check it out. So, let's call that a 90%, since I'm kinda bad with notifications piling up into the hundreds, then disappearing on me.

Thanks I guess, but I'm not that good a writer, I'm mediocre at best really. Still, thanks for answering.

Okay, thanks for answering.
436481 Don't say that, you're better then mediocre.
