I'm not sure I like this

So FiMFiction made some huge changes to their format recently as you all can tell and I'll be perfectly honest. I don't like them.

I was kind of already annoyed that we have the names of the characters and not their actual character icons like we used to, now the editing process has been modified and on top of that there are two issues that I am concerned with in regards to some of the new tags.

1) The Warning Tags - I remember some discussion on this that the sex tag should be divided into multiple categories, out these we pretty much got all except the Innuendo tab (which I think would have been nice to have). So we still have the issue that the sex tag can been actual sex or just an Innuendo is present, while also have other tabs to clarify what type of sex is present... wow. That is exactly what we wanted (not entirely, no).

2) The MLP: FiM tag - this wouldn't bother me so much except when I checked this category I found more tags, some of which have to deal with other cartoons/comics/movies that have nothing to do with MLP, here on a website dedicated to MLP fanfiction. Are these tags just to better clarify crossovers, like if you have a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles crossover you would include that tag, or are we allowing fanfics for these different tags without having to require them to have any mlp content? I am not okay with that. That isn't the reason I came here. If I wanted a Fanfiction free for all I would go to Wattpad, Deviant Art or Fanfiction (whatever that website is called).

3) Did they at least fix some of the issues we already had? We have been having issues where you can't add a story to an empty folder unless you send it there directly from the story, which is confusing for some of our newer users. On top of that I none of the indents I made (by hitting the tab key) have been showing up as tabbed when I view the story. Not only that but every time I go in to edit the story the first paragraph is always untabbed even when I tab it.

I just think the website managers did to be more upfront with us. Did they fix any of the issues or are they just fixing what isn't broken? At least give us some way of knowing what is going on and allow us to provide our feedback.

Are these tags just to better clarify crossovers

Possibly, but I remember there being talks to retool the site for fanfictions of all types. This is a step in that direction.

Not sure about the rest, for I was barely on yesterday.
