I am not gonna talk about the leaked images, plot ideas, or what have you. Because, as Linkara always likes to say-
"Show me a trailer or a poster and I'll believe it."
And that's how I feel about anything. I mean, it might be good, who knows. As long as the world is engaging, the characters 3dimensional, show that there is no wrong way to be a girl, the comedy fun, the stories interesting, the characters are relatable, and the villians awesome, it will be good. Hell, we know that this fandom will still exsist because, well...
So many other fandoms still do for shows that have long since died like B5, Gargoyles, and the original Sailor Moon series. EQD will report on the show as usual, new art will come, and this site will most likely sttay up. Maybe even become an all inclusive pony site, or a fanfic site in general, or even allow G5 as a new tag. I dunno, but I will be here.
No, my big question is-
When G5 hits, do you think that will mean the end of Starfleet or will itself be rebooted for a new generation. Or, what if it's all going to be about the Starfleet kids?
I mean, we know that Starla and Lighting are going to have a baby. We already have twins for the rulers, there's bound to be a Sparity child soon...

Then again, if G5 inspires a Fallout Equestria 2: Crisis on two worlds, where Little Pip has to get back in the saddle to kick ass and take names I am all for it. Or Fallout Equestria 2: Link between generations...or even an Immortal Game 2.
I think the best case scenario is that You-Know-Who just doesn't acknowledge G5, much like he seemingly doesn't acknowledge/talk about Teen Titans GO or any season of Digimon past 02, and remains stuck in his little all-encompassing world of hate for FIM. That way, we can all move on with our lives.
As for me, if and when the end does come for Friendship is Magic, it won't change the fact that it essentially changed my life, and I will always be grateful to Lauren Faust and everyone else who worked on the show. I just hope it goes out on a high and/or heartwarming note.
I honestly think that once G5 starts, Starfleet will end and Mykan will simply fade back into obscurity, at least in terms of the MLP fandom and his hate for FiM.

Hey, FIM is the whole reason why I got back into writing fanfic in the first place and why I remembered about loving writing so much. So I know it won't ruin the love and joy I felt from this show.
If G5 doesn't have friendship in the title I think he might leave.
