    Author update!

I'm editing stuff! But also incredibly dried out of writing power atm. I'll get going again soon, but just bear with me for a bit. I'm publishing a chapter of XCOM today, then start on the daily writing (not publishing) again tomorrow morning. In the meantime, always remember:

    Remembering Koji Wada

Like every year, I like to remember the man/legend responsible for the theme songs of one of my favorite shows of all time on the anniversary of his death.

So if you were wondering about the timing for the latest Isekai chapters? There you go.

    Welp, here's a life update

These last couple of weeks have been a bit of a rollercoaster. Good things have happened, and also bad ones. No wonder I could relate to both Furina and Navia in the latest Isekai chapter. Sometimes pretending things are fine is really exhausting, even if they do get better.

    Welp, another year older and...

...still writing ponies. (Among other things, granted.)

Update to the Isekai coming tonight! And some additional details and change of plans.

First, to everyone waiting patiently for the next Isekai chapter, I apologize for the delay. I know there are a lot of people that want to see another visit to Hell happen soon, and it will, I promise. However, due to some circumstances, I decided for a different pair of visitors to visit the bar this week.

It's all here, in these pages... · 2:24pm Dec 19th, 2017

...I have tried to write down what I have seen. It may take the rest of my life to explain what I saw in that one singular instant.

Hello everyone! This is an update from my previous blog: The Best Laid Plans, where I explain the circumstances behind this whole thing.

First of all, I want to thank all of you that have donated to the cause. We're basically 2/3rds of the way! This amount of generosity is something that people swear they only see in movies, and although I haven't hit the objective yet, I can still hope to get as close as possible to it!

Secondly, I'd like to thank those of you who have signal-boosted my plea… given the nature of Gofundme, I need to reach as far as possible! So thank you, from the bottom of my poke-heart: Present Perfect, Capn_Chryssalid, The Abyss, and shortskirtsandexplosions!

Thank you, really. All of you.

It's hard to really express gratitude online at times. I've sent a personal thanks to everyone that has donated so far, and yet I can't really convey how much that has meant each and every time. Every one of them, is an honest help—and it guarantees I'll get something that is safe for both my kid and I to drive in.

I'm trying to make the payments as low as possible, of course and looking at cheap-but-reliable options. Bad Horse, Rob and others have offered sound advice that I ended up writing down just so I have it as a reminder every time I search.

So… this is cheesy to do in a public blog, and for some reason channeling G'kar seems very appropriate... but if you'll indulge me, here is something that this whole situation reminded me of and would like to share:

The Universe speaks in many languages, but only one voice.
The language is not Narn or Human or Centauri or Gaim or Minbari.

It speaks in the language of hope. It speaks in the language of trust.
It speaks in the language of strength, and the language of compassion.
It is the language of the heart and the language of the soul.
But always it is the same voice.

It is the voice of our ancestors speaking through us.
And the voice of our inheritors waiting to be born.
It is the small, still voice that says we are One.

No matter the blood, no matter the skin,
No matter the world, no matter the star,
We are One.
No matter the pain, no matter the darkness,
No matter the loss, no matter the fear.
We are One.

Here, gathered together in common cause
We agree to recognize this singular truth and this singular rule:
That we must be kind to one another.

Because each voice enriches us and ennobles us,
And each voice lost diminishes us.
We are the voice of the universe, the soul of creation,
The fire that will light the way to a better future.

We are One.

I'm still short, but it's doable. Gofundme is a min of $5, for which I can't but apologize—it seems like the best method of getting it together and I wish it would allow for less for others who have wished to donate a little themselves.

If you have helped, you should have received by now my thank you email, and if not, thank you again from the bottom of my heart (and my son's too, he just likes seeing me less stressed out.)

If you can help, please do so; if you can spread the word, that would also be great... we're so close!

For anyone who wants to hear the original:

Wow at the amount you've already managed to raise! This community really is amazing sometimes. I have my fingers crossed that you reach the full $3000

In my opinion, cheesiness doesn't matter when the message is sincere enough.

Now let's see if we can finish pulling off this Christmas (or whichever holiday you prefer) miracle.

It is not so that we must explain oneness, rather that we reingnite the knowing, inherent in our beingness, of our truest nature. The expression of which in any given form is merely myth, and image, one of infinite faces, equally expressed valid and true.

Dammit, D. Don't make my heart grow three sizes before Christmas, or I'll never get those Whos!
