This is just a quick recapitulation. This is because he was already president for four years. Therefore, quoting every single bullsh!t moment would take an essay's worth of material. Also, talking about the subject is just depressing.
Piñera is an amoral idiot. He broadly supports the big enterprises by raising the tax on SMEs (Small and medium enterprises). He also used his position as head of the Executive Power, plus privileged information of the International Court of La Haya, for the benefit of his own companies (which he kept after being elected). Such a scandal was unprecedented in Chile since the return to democracy (we had a dictatorship between 1973 and 1989). This is not something minor.
In addition to the scandals already mentioned, the idiot declared education at all levels as a consumer's good. This means that, for four years, he devoted himself to cutting-off all forms of financing for education and healthcare. Pilera then passed these funds to the private sector in the form of subsidies of unprecedented magnitude, since the dictatorship (see a theme here?).
Within the moral grounds, he has already promised to outlaw abortion in the three grounds in which it is allowed in Chile (unviability, life risk and rape). He is also against equal marriage, and has publicly stated that gender dysphoria is a correctable disease. Piñera also closed the public newspaper (La Nación) and tried to close the national channel (TVN), essentially denying public-access means of communication. And finally, he ordered people to be erased on the waiting list for medical attention in order to 'prove' that the healthcare had improved. The latter even resulted in deaths, and the criminal complaint is being carried out.

You think you got the original? Dude, Trump is a remix of Piñera. There was a reason I was so against his campaign, and still stand against his presidency. It's because I had to live with the exact same thing from 2010 to 2013. It starts aggravatingly stupid, degrades into brutally silly, and at the end, it's a shame for everyone involved.
