I've been out of the MLP game for a while now, but recently heard about some sort of major leak that happened. I looked into it a bit, and wow, it is most certainly a huge leak. Episode synopses, unfinished rough cuts, concept art, Meghan McCarthy's emails... It's a lot to dig through.
That said, it's big enough that it might just get me back into watching the show, at least. Not so much a content creator anymore, but to the point where I'm actually watching episodes again and see what ends up happening. I got on this ride early, so I may as well be there for when it ends.
Season 8, here we go. But before that, I guess I should watch season 7, 6, and the last half of 5, huh?

You sound like me back just before season 7.
I was out for like mid season 5, just stopped since i got stuck on some episode i couldnt watch till the end. Being a stubborn fudge i didnt skip it but just stopped alotogether. Some time before S7 decided to get back into it so did. Must say im glad i did. Heck i didnt skip any episide except watching the celestia and luna one of S7 when it came out since im a huge celestia fan so any episode about her is a must for me. Funilly enough, watched one of the leaked S8 episodes, and it was the one with Celestia as the main point. In the beginning she was so adorable...
But ill try to stay away from the spoilers.
FWIW, I am almost caught up on s7. Just have finale to go. Feel free to hit me up if you wanna bitch or want to argue about best/worst pony.

Of course. I may be inclined to blog my feelings about each season as I finish them, at least just a short summary to drum up some conversation. I'll see how I feel.

Yeah, I'm not one to skip episodes either. Funnily enough, the leaked Celestia episode was the first of the leaked episodes I've looked into, and it already has me worried. Maybe it's just me, but Celestia just felt wildly out of character in that beginning part. Unnerving.

If you mean the S8 episode, i would say its done well actually. Its ooc for "The Princess" certainly as it isnt something you would expect to see her do in public, but she was just with two friends of hers, one of who offered her the chance to make a dream she had as a young child come true. So of course she would be happy.
