Well, I'm not blind, so that's a plus.
But yeah, post-surgery recovery has been moving along pretty good. Eye pressure is good, according to the doctor, which is even better. And I can wear sunglasses, which is awesome!!!
Now I just need to get some to wear
The surgery itself was... interesting, given that all I had to go on was the experiences of my friends who'd had Lasik or PRK. I have to say that ICL has definitely earned it's stripes as far as I'm concerned, and I definitely recommend it to anyone who's been wanting Lasik/PRK, but don't qualify due to their eyesight being too bad/corneas being too thin (I was disqualified for both, hilariously). The doctor even says that now I can get Lasik to make the last minute correction to fix my astigmatism. From the eye tests they've done thus far I can already read the lines at 20/20 and 20/15 if I find a good spot on the little lens thing they use.
The worst part of it was being banned from driving for the first couple days, because of course I immediately discovered things that made me want to leave the apartment. By Sunday I was able to drive normally, and Tuesday the 5th I was able to return to work (by badgering the doctor to write in a special provision to my medical profile, since I wasn't supposed to come back until after Thursday the 7th, but our shop was so short-staffed I was literally the only person there for large chunks of the day )
Always glad to hear a surgery ended well. Good luck with the... improved? polished? eyes.

We'll go with 'polished' eyes, I think that's worth congratulating. :)
