Luna Eclisped... one of the worst things to happen to FanFic's... · 2:42am Oct 24th, 2011
As much as I loved the most recent episode, I realized watching it that all attempts to write in Luna to FanFic's before this time is now WRONG. Being, as one brony I know said, a "social archaic", Luna is a completely different character from what we all thought.
I'm not blaming Hasbro, or Lauren Faust, or any of the awesome crew for deciding this was the best way to develop the character, but I think some of us might have gotten a bit ahead of ourselves thinking what Luna was like, instead of waiting to actually find out what she was like.
So, I guess this means there will now always be a "Before Luna Eclipsed" and "After Luna Eclipsed" version of our most beloved pony princess, but at least my stories will almost always be a (hopefully!) "After Luna Eclipsed" Princess Luna.
Now, what is the next character they are going to change on us, I wonder...
Well, I know that I am certainly going to be writing her now as Post-Luna Eclipsed.
Actually... I thought quite a few fanfics actually had the right idea, though just imagined her a little differently while she was being written.
And I think I called her "Socially Awkward Archaic Luna".
Next character change... Trixie.
