On the topic of that email security freakout from yesterday

So, I took some time looking it up. Some had a similar problem of an iOS device showing up in their list of devices, and it turns out that it was because a Google Hangouts program they had installed identified itself as an iOS client for authentication.

Guess who else uses a 3rd party Google Hangouts app?

Yup. Turns out it's just a Windows app identifying itself as iOS.

At least I doubled my password length.
