Now with metadata from APIv2, thus breaking backward compatibility. Author's notes have also been added to all currently available stories. No patch will be released since 70% of all stories have been modified.
What does this mean exactly?
4740899
It means that the index now contains more information about stories, such as character tags. People who have written programs relying on the index may have to modify them before they will work with this release. The README contains an example of what the index currently looks like.
This is nothing you need to worry about unless you're a programmer.
You're the best, man!

Does it change anything for me as an archivist of the fics? Anything that isn't there anymore, any records that are lost?
4740910
Aww, thanks!
4740912
Nope, if anything it just makes the archive more complete!
As always, thank you so much for continuing to create this.
4740939
No problem, it's my pleasure!
(This gives me a chance to play with snakes.)

Awesome, thanks for improving the archive!
Thanks for this!
I'm just curious how you got the link to the API documentation, since I pestered knighty about it, and joined the Discord chat group for it, and the fimfiction group for it, and still never found a single @#$! link to it.

Whee!
I was wondering if any one could point me to a software that could convert the index.json to .csv?
4741650
These don't contain all the information, but I hope they are useful regardless!

Thanks

I don't have a nice program to give you though since I just used parts from the Fimfarchive code to slap one together. If you'd like, I can just keep creating CSV exports for you after each release.
4744423
If it isn't to much work.
4744427
It's not.

Ok thank you so much!
