Twilight Tries to Get Fired

I have an off-duty gig in retail. Between a mortgage, an assload of other debt, and a divorce, I kinda had to take an off-duty gig. Did a rent-a-cop gig for a few years and excelled, but it didn't pay as well as it would have if I were still on the Job (as the New York coppers would say), so I had to find something that netted a little better. The upside is that it has fuck-all to do with Forensics or policing. The downside is that, after three years of it, I completely understand where HRH Twilight is coming from in this fic...
