As I did!

Gorged myself silly on various fall-themed goodies, so that's always nice. And when I got home, in my food-induced stupor, I somehow got the idea in my head that they were putting out an open call for people to submit scripts for the pony show, and I could only lay there in bed, wracking my brain on how to write a pony story that didn't involve booze and/or saucy jokes and/or gratuitous Rarijack shipping.

I mean, I guess it's possible, but still. Plus, writing for a cartoon's a lot different beast than writing fanfic. But, as I'm actually awake now (or, well, getting there. Caffeine helps) I realize that this was just a feverish tryptophan-dream.

Unless it isn't in which case I'd appreciate it if someone could point me at the proper link for script submissions.

In other news, I'm still chipping away at my NaNoWriMo novel-- or, well 'novel' as it's currently a bunch of disjointed story fragments. I'm about 34k in ... of which about, I dunno, 5-6k is salvageable? We'll see.

Still, come December, I think I'm gonna get to writing another silly pony story just to cleanse my palate. Maybe more Flash Sentry Papers, or maybe something people will actually want to read. Stay tuned! :)

You say that like a story with those 3 is a bad thing. I'm not an active shipper, but I enjoy Rarijack.

Right, but 'the episode where Applejack and Rarity get tipsy on cider and start awkwardly making out in front of everypony' might be something of a hard sell to get on TV.

... on FiMFiction, however, that's pretty much expected. ;)

Only a hard sell because of MLP's rating. If it had a higher rating, there'd probably have been a lesson about responsible drinking already. Although, the show has been going strong for 7 seasons and 5 movies and we're apparently getting an EQG miniseries, so I'd say the show's doing just fine. I had a point I was going to make and I lost it. Not sure where though.
