    I Live!

But I’m on a buttload of drugs and am going to pass out.

Surgery went great, even better than expected. I’ll elaborate more later.

    Until next time!

Almost Late, But... · 12:54am Nov 24th, 2017

Happy Thanksgiving to all my fellow Americans out there. I would have posted sooner, but I'm out of the US and celebrating in Iceland instead!

That meant arriving in Reykjavik at 6:15am local time with no access to the net, taking a brief nap, getting some grub, going to the Blue Lagoon (an amazing hot spring), then having dinner at the local joint which instead consisted of lobster soup and leekfish. No turkey, stuffing, potatoes, any of the usual stuff. Call me a traitor to my country, but I think taking my mother to Iceland for her birthday beats it out this year.

To top it off, we walked out of the restaurant and right into a view of the Northern Lights. It was absolutely breathtaking (I have a picture of it, but not only does it not do the Lights justice, but I don't have my computer with me).

And this is only our first day! I'm finally back at our homeaway with some wifi on my phone, so I wanted to drop you all a line.

Just to keep everyone in the loop, I'm still working my way through DaD. Chapters 29 and 30 are done, and I'm working on 31. I swear I'm still going. I'm not sure how many more chapters (if any) I'll have after that this time around, but when I start publishing again, you'll have at least three.

Alright, I have an island tour tomorrow that I have to be up early for, so I've gotta hit the sack. Happy Holiday, all!

And just FYI for all of you, it's 1am here now, so technically Thanksgiving is already over for me...

Oh well.

Zzzzzzzz...

It’s the middle of the day here in Australia
And a hot one too.
Good to know the book is alive, eagerly awaiting the sweet finale.
Good morning to you

Well, if you're waiting for the finale, you've got a LONG time to wait, my friend. We're only in the second act, and based on the outline I currently have, there's going to be at least four. There's plenty more of Cotton's story to be told.

...It just takes a while for the pieces to get put together. :twilightsheepish:
