So, I don't want to be an asshole...

There are troll fics on this site, which is fine. I like a good trollfic myself. Some might call some of my work trollfics. I personally might not, but whatever.
I like it when you read a fanfiction, and you like it, everything is great. The fic is well written, all the plot points make sense,and everything just fits well together. Then it hits you with a dumb pun. Or something monumentally stupid happens, or a twist happens that pulls you out. It's funny and entertaining and stuff.

I don't like, however, when the story is badly written and absurd the whole way through, then one of the above things happens, and it treats it like it's some wacky twist.
For example: Anon fics are stupid and absurd by nature. that's cool, I like it, but when you have this dumb random stuff happening, then you try and pull an absurd twist and you play it like some big thing, it doesn't really work. The whole story is absurd, but now you're acting like this one thing is really weird? How is this one thing different to the previous things?

I don't know what I'm trying to say. I guess I have specific tastes.

Oh, and I'm also writing a story sometimes. Expect a bad multi-chapter story to come probably next year. I might add to Ponies Do Things in the meantime.
