    20171202 - Story Idea's

Of Scales and Moonlight: Book 2

I'll have to think of a better title, but I intend to take Spike and his Aunty Luna further than just a single book. Though the plot will have to wait until I'm MUCH further along with Book 1 :twilightsheepish:

20171123 - Excert from OSaM: Story Bible

While jotting down some notes in the story bible I'm piecing together for 'Of Scales and Moonlight', I cobbled together the below excerpt. I'd like to say I'm not sure if it will make its way into the story. Like Celestia and Spike's skit from chapter 1, however, it feels like I've put a part of myself into this; so I'm sure you'll see it (polished up) before too long in a future chapter.

20171116 Update - Of Scales and Moonlight

Just a quick FYI, since I feel a bit mean for going quiet after such a warm reception of my first story on this site.

20171123 - Excert from OSaM: Story Bible · 7:41pm Nov 23rd, 2017

While jotting down some notes in the story bible I'm piecing together for 'Of Scales and Moonlight', I cobbled together the below excerpt. I'd like to say I'm not sure if it will make its way into the story. Like Celestia and Spike's skit from chapter 1, however, it feels like I've put a part of myself into this; so I'm sure you'll see it (polished up) before too long in a future chapter.

For now, however, please enjoy this rough little jot - with no context what so ever (got to keep some secrets after all). Hopefully I'm able to get across a bit of the emotion I felt when writting it...

“No, you can’t!” cried Sparks and he reached out to Woona, Princess Celestia holding him back. The Elements of Harmony spining around them like a rainbow of shooting stars; their powerful hum increasing as Celestia's spell neared it's completion.

“It’s fine Sparks,” replied a smiling Woona, straining as she clung to Nightmare Moon, her magic sparking around them both, “we’ll see each other again. I promise!" With a happy smile and tears in her eyes, Woona and the nightmare vanished; the elements of harmony around Celestia and Sparks growing dim. Woona's last word's fading into the night sky, "...love you Sparks".

Sparks collapsed to his knees, his sword was forgotten, Celestia was forgotten. As the shape of the nightmares appeared on the moon above him his outstretched hand dropped to his side as the young swordsman wept.

Many Regards,
Guardian
