SO! i better get this rolling, i thought i'd have time to do it all tonight, but that's not the case, so since there was one particular thing ive been dying to share, i'll show that in a short blog tonight and do the rest later when i have more time 
So... one of the guests of honor at this past Ciderfest was none other than Jay Fosgitt. The IDW comic artist who is known for his bendy squishy pony look and drew this particularly hilarious comic:
And this other one staring several wonderbolts:

WELL! He was there... AND... he was taking commissions! I was not about to pass up the chance to get an ink or two of an official comic artist... who has drawn Wonderbolts... to draw PTH Wonderbolts!
So im sure all of you are waiting for me to show a picture of Fleetfoot, but believe it or not i went for two of my male characters due to their nature within the Wonderverse being unique and different from canon.

I about died laughing when he showed me Silver, aside from showing two references from Foxena's work all i said was "old and grumpy" and he delivered.

I love that comic of Spitfire freaking out when faced with a classroom full of foals. In her defense, they can be overwhelming in large numbers-I'm getting my teacher certification in high school English and history because the primary kids drain me!
HAHAHAHA I'm laughing so hard at the drawing of Silver. Pure genius. Old and grumpy and still Silver.
Picture of Soarin just after calming down from getting the horn attached. Yup, that's what comes to mind.
I love the soarin picture! I wonder what fire and lighting look like with that art style.

Fire was actually in the second comic, the only panel that was posted though was a text edit
I don't bother with official comics, mostly fan made ones.
But both of those images are wonderfully done, although I kinda think that Silver looks like he should have retired years ago.

I didn't specify the age to the artist either, he probably would have let up on the old look a little bit if i mentioned Silver is in his 40's, but the reference i showed him was one of Fox's baggy eyes silver images so yeah... we got 'Old Grump Silver'
