That was fast!
I mean, wow, already halfway through the month. But I'm not halfway through the story! I still got like two and a half more chapters to write before I get to the big half-way mark. Every day counts, so I need to get plenty of rest, eat my greens, and try not to get arrested.
But I've got to admit, even if I don't make the goal of 50,000 words, I'll be much farther along than I was if I didn't take this challenge. I'm about halfway through the fourth chapter at the end of my second week. Back when I was at my pony-plotting productivity peak, I'd spit out a chapter about once every week and a half, maybe even two. And I didn't maintain that for long. So far I've already got 3 and 1/2 chapters done in first draft in two weeks. That's almost double my previously mentioned peak. I'll have Claymore [working title because 'Claymore' is such a fucking common and lazy name that I can't possibly stick this story with such a boring name, but Celestia help me, I can't come up with a better one to save my life] *ahem* I'll have this story completed in a fraction of the time it would have taken me otherwise at my usual pace.
And that is some cool beans right there.
