NaNoWriMo Update 1 · 1:11pm Nov 13th, 2017
Today marks the 13th day and that means that the word count should be at 20,967... and I am not there. But that isn't what I wanted the focus of this blog to be about, no, I wanted to talk about my plans. See, after having a "lovely" conversation with a dear friend for several hours while I was... basically depressed. I came to the conclusion that I should work on the long fics I currently have out -- because that way I should get more viewers and hopefully stop running into these nice little depression patches.
Hence after I finish the first chapter of the story I'm working on now (the mystery fic) I'll be switching my focus on something else, and to answer the question posed towards me before, no I will not be posting it. Not yet at least. Will I continue working on the mystery fic? Perhaps, but my focus will be on completing the stories I've let gather dust; something that has come as a great shame to me.
If anyone noticed a few changes on my stories they'll have noticed two things; first, A Dream's Final Rest, has been moved to being on hiatus for the time being; secondly, Dark Ponies, will now be the story I'm working on this month. Hopefully I can finish up a few more chapters and get them out; though I will be brushing up the ones already out a little to make them look nicer (read better).
I suppose I should leave this off with the plans for NaNo (other than the changes to what's being written), so for starters: I'm at about 10k words, or Day Six on my way to Day Seven. I am very far behind, I know. But it couldn't be helped. And as long as I don't run into another of those... rough patches then I should be able to make a speedy recovery by the end of the week. While I should be aiming to catch up by the end of the week, I've decided to set my sights higher and try to pass what I need by that time.
Sorry, this went on longer than I intended,
