So, my dad was asking my mom if she wanted to go to the gym down the road from our house tonight, but she said she wanted to watch a movie.

Except no argument happens. Communist jokes do, though.

My dad: "I used to go to the gym back in Vietnam."

My mom: "Really? When I met you, you were pretty skinny!"

My dad: "That's because I didn't have anything to eat."
