Not only is Battlefront 2 going to be the first mainstream Star Wars game I will not purchase in over 14 years, but EA is set to buy Respawn Studios for $400 million.
Rest in peace guys. As far as I'm concerned, all of you are now on borrowed time. Titanfall 3 will be infested with loot crates.
Vince, the reason you went off and created Respawn was because you got absolutely screwed over by a big publisher when you headed up Infinity Ward.
Either your hindsight isn't 20/20, or you're really anxious to have history repeat itself.
Or you're ready to retire and the money was an offer you couldn't refuse.

Um, because a true discussion should take place over a greater amount of time than a segment on the morning news? Most podcasts are around that long in order to really examine the topic(s).
A big takeaway from this podcast is the possibility that if the Government starts policing our gaming policies instead of the ESRB, bad news for everyone. And believe it, the ESRB is trying really hard to make loot not seem like gambling in order to prevent the Government from stepping in. But if they don't get a handle on this controversy soon, Big Brother is going to take a closer look under the hood.
