So, here I am a week after my last update. Again, I've not abandoned the site. I've been checking once or twice a day to clear out my notifications and whatnot (mostly feed, I rarely get notifications).
Anyways, I still don't know when I'm going to take my old laptop to have my friend's dad retrieve the hard drive. I'm beginning to think it won't be until December or January, I don't really know. It feels good to not be on a computer all the time though, and not trying to brainstorm ideas for writing every day I open an unfinished chapter page is letting my mind rest and think of ideas when I'm not even trying.
So, with that, there is a chance I might get back into the groove of things sooner than I thought. Earlier today, I thought of plenty of ideas for the start of the prologue of Millennia: Starfall that I went to myself, "You know what? I'm just gonna hop on Google Docs and write it", and that's exactly what I did. 933 words worth, to be exact. Barely any pauses to think of where to go next. And you know what? It turned out exactly how I pictured it in my mind.
Now, yes, Millennia: Eye of the Storm is very much unfinished, I am acutely aware of that. No, I'm not publishing Starfall just yet. I'm not publishing it anytime soon to be precise. I'm taking a long break from the Millennia Saga after EoTS is finally completed.
So, will I have Eye of the Storm done in December like originally planned? I'm not sure. Ideas have been slow, especially for the latest chapter which currently sits a little over 2,900 words; mainly because I tend to write some parts ahead just so I have them outlined to later fill in the space between and polish up what was done beforehand. There's quite a bit of that in chapter 39 and, for the moment, very little is coming to me of what my next move should be. Until I can for sure say that the chapter will be done anytime soon (within the next two to three weeks), Eye of the Storm will remain on hiatus.
But outside of FIMFiction, I'll be pretty busy these next couple of months. First off, I'm hoping to finally go to take the test and get my temps for driving sometime over Thanksgiving break, and then in December is my Geometry test, which will determine if I graduate in June or not. So, those are two pretty big things coming up that I feel you guys should know about.
