Hello my dear followers. It's Spike the lone wanderer And as you all know, I write my fimfics with my heart and my overflowing imagination. My stories begin with a simple idea that turns into long days of writing. Once finished, I publish without questioning if the grammar is good or if I have to make someone read it? I'm talking about this because like many others, I was advised in comments to find an editor. I'm never asked for help from an editor because I did not want to disturb them with that. But today, I doubt is in me. That's why I'm asking you one thing, should I ask an editor for help? Thank you in advance for your answer.
Having an editor can benefit your writing in so many ways, but it depends if you're willing to work with others. If you want someone's opinion and assistance on a story then go ahead, but if you work well independently and want some help on your grammar, spelling and/or punctuation, you could use a writing-enhancement platform like Grammarly.
