I totes promise within a week this time. we've pretty much got it done, I'm having the madverse pre-readers and Merlos double check over it to make sure its maintaining continuity and isn't too bad. We trimmed a lot out of this chapter. This was intended to be a world building chapter, but instead we cut a lot of that stuff out to keep it from dragging. There is a "extras and junk" chapter made where its just Stormy talking to Merlos that might get released as it contains stuff that was going to be expanded upon, like her stint in filly scouts, flight camp, or even what her world is like other than the little glimpses we get in the telling of things.
Here's to TWO chapters in one year, I get to mark at least one item off my new years resolutions. :D

Only 13k so far in editing... Still that's bigger than anything we've put out so far. Generally I aim for between 7-10k but this is gigantic.
We were committed to get certain parts of this story in the chapter and with that guideline we were able to deliver, Merlos did a lot of heavy lifting in this, as often times when I was at work, he'd want to work on it and I had just a cellphone to type into and deal with the screen blacking up randomly or when I took a laptop to work on it: The courser appearing in random places when I'm trying to type... Very annoying.
Either way, We soften some blows that were going to be dealt and Merlos kept me from making this into an adult rated fic with all the violence I wanted to put in. So we're keeping it somewhat in the right spirit of what we're going for.
I'll post one cut scene in the next blog update that isn't canon to the story, but fun...
