Following the MLP S7 finale:Shadow Play I will be writing a new one shot called:A wasted Life.
It will be about the IDW comic character Shadow Lock, for those not in the know he was established a year to year and a half BEFORE S7, he is a descendant of Stygian AKA the Pony of Shadows. His clan has spent over a thousand years anticipating his return and has been working to prevent it and the mere existence of Stygian from being known.
He almost succeeded but was stopped by Twi, he left on good terms saying that when his ancestor returns he will fight with them. They then show his ancestor's appearance and its clearly the POS. He learned that POS was the most powerful, most evil, more destructive force Equestria had EVER know.............yeah all thats bull.
Stygian was uninspired and just stole designs, powers, motivation and backstory from other villains and was weak enough to be driven back by just Twi and Glim-Glam, so yeah overhype with no pay off and now Stygian is going home so yeah Shadow-Lock is his LAST family member and was born simply to continue the legacy of erasing the POS, so I am writing this fic about how he meets Stygian and his reactions, interactions and overall loss of purpose.
