Ms. Brass, in the wake of your charges being offered the opportunity to return to their world of origin, has there been any change in their outlook? Also, in light of the events of Adagio's attempted suicide, has her outlook drastically changed towards her sisters?

Rose rocks a little on her tired old swivel chair. “Mm, that’s hard to say just yet. They’re going through a lot right now, and it’s tough to untangle just how much—and what kind of—influence any single factor is having. Doc W seems to think in the long run it’ll be positive overall, but in the short term it’s yet another question on a long, long list they’re struggling to understand, let alone answer. Not only are they going through all the usual difficulties of adolescence, they have this whole extra pile of issues on top of that. It’s rough going. They certainly haven’t come to any kind of decision, and I wouldn’t expect them to for quite a while. Just between us, though, my guess is they’ll end up staying.”
   A brief smile lights her face. “As for Adagio’s relationship with Aria and Sonata, I can state without reservations she’s opening up more. Well, all three of them are, but I think a big part of it for her is realizing how much they still need her. She’s the smartest, and more of a natural leader, so the challenge will be redirecting her bullying into a healthier dynamic. They do backslide once in a while, of course, but they’re making progress, a little at a time.”
