Review Roundup: September 25th - October 20th · 10:58pm Oct 23rd, 2017
It's been a long weekend. A good one, but a long one, visiting friends and family. And getting home much later than I planned to, and barely making it to work on Monday as I continue to try to make up the sleep and energy deficit I'm running. I can't even tell myself I just need to make it to next weekend, because that's the barbershop district convention... that my barbershop chorus is running. So next weekend will be herding a few thousand old men around and trying to make sure everyone clears out of the practice rooms and makes it on stage at the appointed times. Well, and listening to a bunch of choruses and quartets perform, so it's not like it's all bad.
Now, don't get me wrong, weekends full of friends, fun, and music are nothing to complain about! It'd just be nice I could get a cushion day built in after every time I do something fun. Why, oh why, won't the universe contort itself for my convenience?
That all's the long way of explaining why this post is coming at ya today instead of yesterday. Anyhoo, here's what I've been up to on my blog, One Man's Pony Ramblings, in the past month:

YOU SING IN A BARBERSHOP CHORUS?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!
It isn’t weird that the QnA is the only one I’m interested in, is it? And only partly because I know what 80% of the stories you’ve reviewed are.

Seeing as you'd know better than anyone whether we're mucking it up, I'm doubly glad to hear that!
4706288
I do! I sing tenor these days; head voice is fun!

Oh Matt, you're so weird

https://m.HAYCJENudkeIYEUTOSisbenwi!!! You need to come to a west coast convention so you can sing with the SoCal Ponytones!!!

Hark at him, "mucking it up" -- your system is so much better than one guy pottering around the fandom, it's not even on the same level.
