The past ~7 days have been a blogworthy madhouse, and I hope I can find the time to blog about them. But in the meantime, check Bad Horse's blog if you're angling for near-future Horizon sightings: I'm going to go join in on the Evil League Of Evil meeting which I am going to continue insisting is called "BadHorseCon 2017". I might also be trying to get to the Bay Area as early as Thursday, or stay there as late as Saturday, if more goings of ons are planned. I haven't worked out the logistics on that yet, I just know that it's a 7+ hour round trip and I'd rather commit to more than just a single dinner if I'm going to make the drive.

I kind of like the idea that choosing to share love and everything didn't physically change them. He (then they) changed to something colorful and silly looking on their own to get the ponies on board with the idea they'd changed inside. They overshot what was necessary, but now it's too late for them to fix it without giving away the game.

That also brings me another question, do Changelings still need to eat love to survive? If so, do they take what is freely given by others, or do they just produce enough that the excess feeds them?

Well, According To Canon™ (or at least S7E17):
So, sherbet changelings are repeatedly shown to be subsisting on regular food and not emotions. This is undeniable proof that, even if you have an irrational belief that someone is a changeling, you should feel completely comfortable experiencing tasty, tasty emotions around them.

Yeah, I’ve kinda blocked that episode from my memory. But I suppose, then, that the whole transformation into a bug-horse was just a side effect of the change to a whole new digestive system!
I still like the old-style Changlings, though.
