My thoughts on the MLP Movie (Warning: Spoilers) · 1:28am Oct 17th, 2017
Ok so I saw the movie a couple of days ago and....
It was okay, in my opinion. It was a pretty good movie, but it felt like some of the main cast were out of character, especially Twilight! She was probably the most out of character for me. She was very different from the show and there are only a few similarities. For example: when she lashes out at Pinkie after she confronts Twilight for using them only to get the pearl, it seemed very out of character. Yes, I know she has gotten mad at them before but she doesn't say something like she regrets being their friend. Also when the Mane Five leave her by herself seems out of character, but that's the main thing. The only other problems I have is that they could have done a little more with the AMAZING animation they had! The animation was awesome but they could have done more with it I think. Mainly more movement with the ponies. Last thing is it also felt rushed. The story, the plot, and the build. But other then that I enjoyed the movie and I LOVED Tempest. She was probably my favorite character besides Capper (he's awesome!). She also had a really good back story for MLP. Much better then Starlight's, and I thought the little cartoon animation for the back story was cute. The music was amazing! I loved it, especially "Open Up Your Eyes." As usual the villain song was the best (they never cease to amaze me!) and I really liked the merponies design, even better than their hippogriff design. I would have preferred the Storm King to be more serious instead of like a little boy, but I'll let it slide. I also liked how they answered the question whether or not Equestria was the whole world or just a big part of it. That was pretty neat.
So over all I liked the movie, just thought they could change some things. Music was great, villain was great, and animation was great!
Sincerely,

(PS: how many people do you think are going to ship Capper with someone?)
