Some background music. You're going to need it: we're going to be here a while.

    Status Update, April 2024 Edition

Part of my slowness in writing M.L.G.'s latest chapter is for the usual reasons: tiredness, minor depression, having other things on the mind, that sort of thing. However, in what can only be described as "whimsy", I've recently decided to complete a list of all of the intentional shout-outs and references in the story as of the most recent chapter.

    Something To Think About

I have a message to share with prospective authors. If you go into writing a story---be it as a living, or just for fun---don't automatically assume that what you're doing is wholly original.

New Gaming Series: Casual Failure · 1:21pm Oct 12th, 2017

For those few of you out there reading this who would be interested in watching someone who's been playing video games since he was 3 or thereabouts struggle to deal with a mad scientist, I've started what I'm hoping will be a lengthy online series called "Casual Failure".

The gist of it is that I play through retro video games and actively keep track of how much damage I've taken, how many times I'm hit, and how many lives I've lost and then grade my performance accordingly. All there is to it, really.

I'll try to post videos once or twice a week, energy permitting. Here's a link to the first video in the series, so if you feel up to it, ciao mein and enjoy.
