Greetings Gotham, Joker here! Well, I've spent a sleepless night mulling over an idea for yet another Assassinverse project, Displaced, of course, and one that I think has potential.

You know, I've noticed a recurring theme with X-Men-MLP crossovers on this site. THEY ALWAYS FEATURE WOLVERINE AS THE STAR OF THE SHOW. Okay, it's a good idea, and it'd be pretty amusing to see colorful, happy-go-lucky ponies try to make friends with a centuries-old, harden warrior who has nothing better to do with his time than sit in bars drinking and smoking, and who you need only introduce yourself to for him to say, and I quote,

However, I for one think that concept is a bit over used. Granted, others have tried to put there own spin on it, I recall there being one story with Wolverine's genderbent clone, X-23. But, when push comes to shove, it's the same thing over and over again. And when it comes to an AU like the Assassinverse, I prefer someone with a bit more power to throw around. I prefer someone who'd actually understand what those who've been downtrodden, oppressed, kicked around, and generally bullied by the Traditionalists and Unicornia have been through, because he's been through the same thing. I prefer someone with the power to take advantage of the wood-and-iron materials that make up Equestria, and could use them, should you piss him off enough, to tear the whole place to the ground without a thought or breaking a sweat.

In other words...
