RiMverse: Regarding plans and canon · 2:33pm Oct 10th, 2017
So! as the show has progressed and I have procrastinated, there's a lot of stuff that frankly is outright contradicted by canon. Thankfully, the RiMverse is an AU so canon is not a huge issue, however it does mean I will have to make some formal announcements just in case.
As AJ's parents are COMPLETELY different in canon and the AU, I'll officially have to state for the record that they're completely different from the canon Pear and Bright Mac, to the point that instead of a son, Granny Smith had a daughter and at least one son, Juicy Apple and Rotten Bad Apple. Juicy went on to marry a stallion named Hard Cider, and thus Applejack, Applebloom and Big Mac's parents are formed in the RiMverse (probably a better way of wording that but eh.) Going forward, I'm just gonna completely ignore the canon existence of Pear and Bright, which will likely be addressed in the potential Universe Crossover fic I'll get to EVENTUALLY.
Season 7 has formally introduced their canon interpretation of Starswirl, which is an even bigger issue for me as I still haven't had him show up (but I plan to have him show up). Thus, in light however canon presents him, I will have to say he will be completely different in the RiMverse, including some physical details that will likely contradict canon.
Again, as Rainbow is Magic is an AU, This isn't as big a deal as you'd otherwise think. Still, I'd rather state this for the record rather than have someone down the line call me out.
If there's anything ya'll want me to cover within the RiMverse in the near future, well just let me know and I'll see if it's in line with my own plans. My current plans are to continue my work of Treasure of the Deep Blue, a story that will bring back the Bad Apples and possibly one focusing on Big Mac.
I'd love to see how the events of the movie would play out in the RiMverse

well sadly I don't have any ideas regarding that, maybe later down the line but as of right now? not happening. Besides I have plenty of ideas down the road anyway that I have yet to implement such as the Alicorn Amulet, The Wedding, The Crystal Empire, Tirek and the Rainbow of Darkness, The Equestria Games and so on.
