I walked among the corridors
I knew the path to the one I came for
I held my laptop with my hand
Opened the door to enter the isolated land
And there you lay, as though asleep
Eyes closed you seemed so at peace
The monitor beaps regularly
Your breath on the mask, I knew you were with me
I sat on the empty chair
Greeted and tried my best to smile as I stared
I tell you how was my day
And read to you what everyone says
And as the dusk came, the nurse entered
She said, "Dear, I'm sorry, visiting hours are almost over"
And with regret, I bade goodbye
And, as though to respond, your hand gripped mine
Words cannot describe how I feel now. Who would've known? I was in the hospital again with Hester, and I just finished reading to her Speedy Silverstreak's story "Her Cuddle Pony". I felt like I was crying, I could tell she would if she were awake. And then, at one point after, some people came in.
I knew them from my school. They were bullies who hurt me until Hester comes along. They were mocking me, and her. I felt myself snap. They could mock me all they want, but no one mocks my sister! I stood up and punched the leader, like she taught me. He didn't want any of it.
It was one against two, and they were stronger, I didn't stand a chance. The other one managed to pin me to the wall as the leader went to Hester. "Maybe a true loss should teach you how to mess with us" he said. I knew what that meant. I tried to fight against the other guy, but he was too strong, and he began to try and remove my shirt. I was trying to get out, but no avail.
And then, he stopped. I opened my eyes, and I saw him looking rather wide-eyed. A hand held a syringe in his neck. He fell to the ground with a thud, I looked up, and I was surprised to see who it was.
"No one hurts my Hazel"
The next thing I knew, I was pulled in for a hug. I cried on her chest as she sat down on the bedside. She kept on stroking my hair and whispered, "Don't cry anymore, Hazy. I'm here now, I've come back, and I'll never leave you again"
After many nights and visits, prayers and hopes, comforts and company, she has come back. I'm not kidding. Hester...she's awake! She's come back! The doctor and nurse came in, and took care of the boys. I don't know what's going to happen to them, but Hest just said that they'll "be in for a very long time out".
The doctors were surprised at her recovery. She woke up, was able to stand, and even managed to knock out a guy with a well-made syringe! Even I was surprised. But then again, this is Hester, she's one tough rock. When questioned, she just said that, "My body may need the rest, but hurt my girl, my soul will push on to make you pay"
I'm here at the hospital with her now, and she's watching me type this. She just gave me a break from her tickle torture because I was crying. She said that she heard everything, and was happy to finally be out to say it. She's scheduled to leaving the place in a bit due to her progress. I'm so happy I feel like I'm gonna die!

Wow! I cannot believe it. I was going to suggest Hazel to write a Sad fic. But now Hester is awake, I think that needs to change into a Comedy. Just to celebrate this day.

And I'm happy as well to hear that you've been looking out for my Hazel in my absence. I heard a lot about you when she came to visit. You're a great friend. Thank you for that, and loved your story.
As for those bullies, and everyone else who hurt her in my absence, I have this to say: When I get out of this hospital, I will come after you. And if you try to go after her again as a grown-up, I WILL MAKE YOU WISH YOU WERE NEVER BORN. (hugs Hazel) I love my Hazel. I'm gonna protect her forever.

You can say that again the lord works in ways we can all only understand through prayer and asking for help. I'm sure he was looking over Hester and helping her through her coma. Thank you lord for helping Hester through her ordeal.

God really does answer prayers... I've been praying every day and now hearing from someone I've never even spoken to speak such truth, it's amazing! God really brought Hazel and Hester support throughout all of this!
