    News, also, still not dead

And don't worry, the news is good. Mostly. Here's the deal: I have OFFICIALLY FINISHED Chapter 53 of Dueling is Magic! Many Futures. Well, pretty much anyway. I'm debating whether or not to add one more description of something happening at the end of the duel. But other than that and selecting the Featured Cards, the chapter's finished. FINALLY, right?

    Kattobingu da Ore no Inspiration!

It's been a LONG time since there's been an update from me. Honestly, I was so busy with work that I didn't have the time or energy to finish the next chapter. My whole life is something of a wreck right now, and I've suddenly found myself out of a job.

    Merry Christmas, my bronies!

It's been ages since anyone's heard from me, but rest assured, I'm still alive! Unfortunately, I've done basically no work on Many Futures, and I really need to get back to it... but I just don't have as much time as I used to. See, I got me a job. A REAL job, not some temp shtick. It's a burger joint, but I'm enjoying it. That and Duel Links is taking up a ton of my time.

    Bad News

I've been putting this off because I'm scared of disappointing all of you, but I guess I have to come out and say it at some point.

I lost it all. The duel. The next chapter. It's gone. I'd rather not explain how.

I honestly don't know if I have it in me to rewrite all of that. I'll try, but I just don't know if I can.

Okay, it's been a REALLY long time since you guys have heard from me. I'm really sorry about that. Truth is, outlining the next duel is kicking my butt something fierce. And t's not even because of what I was afraid of- Dash and Paradox getting in each other's way on the Duel Field- but rather because I can't seem to find the right cards for them to counter Antinomy's new strategies that doesn't leave them incredibly vulnerable. That's not to say that I WON'T find solutions, it's just really hard right now.

To tide you over, though, here are some of the new Tech Genus cards I created for Antinomy.

T.G. Solid Wyburn DR-03
FIRE
Level 3
Dragon/Tuner/Effect
This card can also be treated as a Machine monster. When a Spell/Trap Card you control targets this card: You can halve this card's original ATK and DEF. When this card is destroyed: You can add 1 "T.G." monster or 1 Spell/Trap Card with "T.G." in its card text from your Deck to your hand, but you cannot use it this turn. When this card is Special Summoned by a "T.G." monster effect, you can: Immediately after this effect resolves, Synchro Summon 1 "T.G." Synchro Monster using this card and 1 "T.G." non-Tuner monster from your Deck as Material.
ATK/1500
DEF/800

T.G. Bladewing Butterfly IN-01
WIND
Level 2
Insect/Effect
If you control a "T.G." Tuner monster, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). This card can also be treated as a Machine monster. When a Spell/Trap Card you control targets this card: You can halve this card's original ATK and DEF. If this card is sent to the GY as Material for a "T.G." Synchro Monster: You can add 1 Spell/Trap Card with "T.G." in its card text from your Deck to your hand, but you cannot activate it this turn.
ATK/200
DEF/0

T.G. Slipstream Dragon DRX-1200
WIND
Level 5
Dragon/Synchro/Tuner/Effect
1 "T.G." Tuner + 1+ non-Tuner monsters
At the start of the Damage Step, if this card attacks a monster whose Level and ATK are both higher than this card's: You can destroy that monster. This card can also be treated as a Machine monster. When a Spell/Trap Card you control targets this card, halve this card's original ATK and DEF. When this card is destroyed: Draw 2 cards, then send 1 "T.G." monster from your hand to the GY, or, if you don't have any in your hand, send both drawn cards to the GY.
ATK/2400
DEF/2100

For the record, one of these is yet another Ultraman reference, specifically to the new series "Ultraman Geed" (pronounced "jeed"). Geed is the second Ultra to create new forms by fusing the powers of his predecessors. The second form he achieved is called "Solid Burning." It's a fusion of Ultraseven and Ultraman Leo and looks like Iron Man! Solid Burning debuted in episode 3 of Ultraman Geed. Geed is still kid-friendly, but it's been a good series thus far. The show is being simulcast on crunchyroll.com, and I definitely recommend it. Bit of background, though: Ultraman Belial is a dark giant hailing from M78 like most other Ultras. He wasn't always evil. One day he tried to become more powerful by taking energy from the Plasma Spark, a device that provides artificial sunlight to the Land of Light. However, it was too much for him and it drove him insane. He was exiled from the planet for tampering with the Plasma Spark. On a remote planetoid, he encountered the ghost of the Reyblood alien, who fused with him, turning him dark and evil. He gave Belial the Giga Battlenizer, a device that allowed him to control an army of 100 monsters, and could function as a bo staff (Mega Monster Battle: Ultra Galaxy Legend). Belial was killed by Ultraman Zero 20,000 years later (Ultraman Zero: The Revenge of Belial), but confronted him in the Monster Graveyard, where he temporarily possessed Zero like Reyblood possessed him (Ultra Zero Fight). Zero was able to fight back and unlock a new form called Shining Ultraman Zero. Using his new power, Zero ran time backwards to revive his friends that Belial killed in his body, but this also brought Belial back to life. A few years later, Belial reacquired the Giga Battlenizer (Ultra Fight Orb). The rest you'll learn in Ultraman Geed.

I'm still working hard on the duel, but don't expect it to get done any time soon. The chances of that happening are pretty slim. Until then maybe watch the new Ultraman? You can also catch the new YGO series on Crunchyroll as well, or even watch some previous YGO. They are in the process of subbing the original series, and both GX and 5D's are up and complete. They've put ARC-V on hiatus at the moment, but a good portion of it is up.
