Good Evening,
Wanted to give you an update on my status. It's going on four weeks since my PRK surgery. I'm recovering well, reducing the flourometholone (steroid) drops per the opthamologist's instructions. I have another follow-up appointment in two weeks, which will give me a better idea of my recovery.
On the upside, I can now sit in front of a computer for extended periods and write. On the downside, my convalescent leave is over, so going back to work reduces my once abundant downtime. You win some, you lose some.
I've been working on some different stories. The one I've been dedicating much of my time is the one referred to as Untitled Drama. I've been working on it for months, and had only gotten 12,800 words into it. Last week, I went on a writing binge, and punched out 4,500 words. I had projected it to be 20,000 words, but I like adding detail to fill out the story, so now I'm projecting 23,000 words. But, if it turns out how I want it, it will be well worth it. I'd like to have it done by Thanksgiving, but no guarantees.
I've also been working on Chapter 4 of Friendship is Magic: The Movie and, due to popular demand, the sequel to The Secret Life of... Scootaloo. I've also been sketching out ideas for Fluttershy, Twilight Sparkle, Rarity, and Sweetie Belle.
Also looking forward to the movie, though that should go without saying.
