    Happy St. Patrick's Day🍀☘️

Currently doing a bar crawl in Downtown (ok so we started in Corktown and are making our way through any good AVAILABLE bar today) with some friends and a couple of co-workers of mine, who we unintentionally ran into. Turns out great minds think alike! Ironically I'm the "Uber Call Girl" tonight so...unfortunately can't get TOO wasted (plus I actually have work tomorrow...couldn't call off).

"Praying"- Ke$ha (For the victims of the 10-01-17 Mass Shooting in Las Vegas, Nevada) · 5:00pm Oct 2nd, 2017

Well, you almost had me fooled
Told me that I was nothing without you
Oh, but after everything you've done
I can thank you for how strong I have become

'Cause you brought the flames and you put me through hell
I had to learn how to fight for myself
And we both know all the truth I could tell
I'll just say this is I wish you farewell

I hope you're somewhere praying, praying
I hope your soul is changing, changing
I hope you find your peace
Falling on your knees, praying

I'm proud of who I am
No more monsters, I can breathe again
And you said that I was done
Well, you were wrong and now the best is yet to come
'Cause I can make it on my own
And I don't need you, I found a strength I've never known
I've been thrown out, I've been burned
When I'm finished, they won't even know your name

You brought the flames and you put me through hell
I had to learn how to fight for myself
And we both know all the truth I could tell
I'll just say this is I wish you farewell

I hope you're somewhere praying, praying
I hope your soul is changing, changing
I hope you find your peace
Falling on your knees, praying

Oh, sometimes, I pray for you at night
Someday, maybe you'll see the light
Oh, sometime, in life, you're gonna get what you give
But some things, only God can forgive

I hope you're somewhere praying, praying
I hope your soul is changing, changing
I hope you find your peace
Falling on your knees, praying

Found this scrolling through the blogs, seeing what was said of Las Vegas. For the record, I love the song, and putting it with the shooting is very touching. Gives me something thought to chew on next time it shuffles into my playlist.

Well, I'm glad that you like the song. I could think of no other song except this one that fit into what happened. If noticed, I posted a blog just a few minutes before this one explaining my fear for a relative who is trapped in Las Vegas currently. I am deeply thankful to God that she is safe as well as her friend she was traveling with, but for those injured or killed in the ensuing attack feels almost deja vu to what happened similarly in Orlando, Fl last June, I feel a great sense of grief and empathy. But we must stand strong as a nation in peril. I know we'll recover from this...soon.

I did read it. It was after I saw this blog, but I saw it. And I'm also very glad your loved ones are safe.

I'm hoping and praying for the people of Las Vegas, I'm trying to find something I can do in order to help, since I can't drop everything, go to Las Vegas and give blood, as much as I'd like to. I'm thinking of things, any suggestions are appreciated.

It's a terrible, terrible thing that happened, and seeing some of the videos that have circled the web, it's truly horrifying. Like I said, I'm praying, and searching for something to do to help. Unlike the recent hurricanes, you can't chuck money at it and fix it. Houses can be repaired, the deceased can never be replaced. :ajsleepy:

That is so true and unfortunately at this time not much can be done. These things are horrible and funeral expenses are never cheap. I suppose within the next few hours/days donation pages will be up for donating towards covering the costs of the...many funerals.

I woke up, heard about it, and already saw pushing agenda and theories about the Deep State and shit. Disgusting.

I'm very glad your relative's okay. The man who did this is now burning for eternity. Sick fuck.

Yes I am glad they cornered the sick prick who did this and then he went the coward's way and blew his brains out.
