Oh boy . . .

Greetings, followers (all eight of you) and onlookers.

As you may have noticed, I'm fairly churning out the thousand-word one-shots. This is mainly to keep me sane during my week-long leave, because I grow pretty despondent when I'm doing nothing. Also, I like writing, and boy, do I need to practise. Heck, I've even resorted to blogging so as to keep up the flow.

So. Stories. Dark recesses, Octavia's lesson and Your husbands and your sons. I was farting about for the most part, although the latter did require some thought and research. I spent the day reading up on serial killers and their writings. It wasn't fun. What these people have done really is disgusting, and learning about them – albeit morbidly interesting – is, at the end of the day, downright depressing. Putting yourself in a sicko's shoes for the sake of writing a crappy fanfic is about as enjoyable as it sounds.

Hmm. I'm sure I had more to say. Oh yeah. If you've got any ideas that you can't be bothered to develop into stories, throw them my way and (if I can be bothered) I'll give it a whirl. Practice makes perfect and all that.
