I finished looking through those old notes

There was some weird shit in there.
Let's start from the top: the first fic in this old verse was titled "Chronicles of Magic Kindergarten", and the continuity it was supposed to take place in was referred to as the "Chronicles'verse". I had three main fics planned, and one sidestory.
I apparently couldn't decide on the names of some OCs, or simply changed and forgot to update them. As a result, a single pony could be referred to by at least two names - and that's just one pony.
I also had an OC who was supposed to be Diamond Tiara's mom. It's been awhile since I last watched the show, so I have no idea whether or not such an OC would be dated.
There was one OC who I referred to as a "twinkle-eyed" unicorn. When I looked up the term, it said that Twinkle-Eyed Ponies were a line of ponies in G1 with rhinestones for eyes. As for why this OC was one, I didn't find an explanation. I guess maybe she was meant to half crystal pony, half regular pony.
Another OC was half-siren. I have no explanation for this, either.
There were three kirin characters planned - an idea I definitely stole from Tarbtano's "The Bridge".
I also found an Alduin knock-off in the villains outline, made even more hilarious by the fact that this character's name is only slightly different from Alduin - specifically, it was " Al do Lein". I didn't even fucking try.
There were a couple of OCs I did kind of like, though. One was a pegasus named Buzzkill, a rather pessimistic gal who specialized in the creation of storms. The other was an earth pony jeweler named Charm Bracelet.

And I found even more old FiMFic junk. I might as well list it here.
I found a massive document outlining multiple stories, in various stages of being fleshed out - most were pretty basic, but there was one that was really fleshed out and probably should've been it's own document. That one was a plan for a Maleficent Displaced. I found some chapters I had written for a really old fic I deleted - another Displaced, except this one was Mothra. Again, weird shit. Though honestly, I have thought about taking another crack at the Mothra story. It did have some decent ideas, IMO - at any rate, it did have some G1 in it, which is always cool. I actually did have an ending in mind, and I'm surprised that I didn't write an outline for that one. Like, I don't think I will, but it's not impossible - just improbable. It would need some heavy re-working.
I also had a plan for a metafic, since I'm part of a group that had a 'verse of in-forum metafics - though it's been some time since someone last contributed to that particular metafic-verse, so chances are that won't happen. It was supposed to have Morgoth in it as the major antagonist plotting to destroy the universe. And that's all I had planned.
I found a story I submitted to a collaboration called "Letters to Luna", which was basically bits of fanlore. The segment I had written was on dragons and how they came to be. It's probably the best thing I have ever written.
I found an attempt at listing the various ways Tolkien could be ponified - for example, instead of hobbits, it was breezies. I was planning on doing one of those shitty "crossovers" where it's exactly the same as the original story, but everything is ponies.
I then found a doc titled "Scootalo's dad is an alien", the first chapter of a fic of the same name. And it is just...
It has Gigan from the Godzilla movies as Scootalo's dad. Fucking Gigan. Like it wasn't stated in that chapter, but I remember that was part of the plot. It was supposed to be some kind of chicken joke...because Scootalo is a chicken...and Gigan looks kind of like a bird...
Also, somehow the PONY.MOV universe is involved...it just...this shit makes no sense. And I haven't even started getting into the weird shit. There's a book titled Encyclopedia Deus Ex Machina. I threw in a random insult to an old English teacher of mine. There's even a reference to fucking 120 Days of Blueblood. And a reference to AVGN's review of various Godzilla games(specifically, the phrase "Hedorah's rancid a-hole). Also, somehow ponies managed to capture King Ghidorah, another Godzilla monster, and an especially nasty one at that. That isn't explained. His capture is referenced, and it even briefly switches to Ghidorah's POV, where he's wondering how in the fuck he got captured. All I can say is, I don't know either, man. I don't know, either. Also, the phrase "a-freaking-mazing" was in there....I have no excuse, other than I was probably like fifteen when I came up with this and I was really fucking weird when I was fifteen. I probably also didn't really give a fuck. I mean, it's obvious this fic wasn't supposed to be taken seriously, but that doesn't make it any less strange or poorly written.

And that's really it for weird old FiMFic stuff. I have no idea where I came with most of it. It just kind of exists. It's really weird looking back at all this. But at the same time, I remember actually feeling really enthusiastic about writing a lot of this stuff. Like the Maleficent Displaced - I remember one night where I typed part of the first chapter because I was so excited and had so many ideas for it that I couldn't sleep if I didn't get it all down.
Some of this might not be good. Hell, most of it probably isn't any good. But damn if I didn't have fun coming up with this stuff.
