Why Are You Here? (A Thoughts Poem) · 12:47am Sep 15th, 2017
Why are you here?
I mean it could have been anyone. My mom, one of my friends at school, hell even my boss at work.
But it was you.
It's.. always been you.
I think it's crazy how that is.
There must be a reason, right?
And yet, I can't figure out what exactly that reason could be.
For as long as this has been happening, I've always drawn a blank at the exponential existence you hold in my mind and soul.
The convenience of you in my thoughts is extravagant but also confusing and concerning.
The conclusion, I think, cannot be answered with a simple "why?"
There must be more to it.
We are talking about the human brain here.
The thing that keeps us going until we can go no more.
It's complicated matter held together by more matter inside a whole suit of matter.
Matter that I wish I could control.
They say that every question has an answer, in some way, shape, or form.
But honestly, I don't think I'll ever get the answer.
Or.
Maybe I already know and refuse to believe it.
Just maybe.
This was a nice poem. You did a good job with it.

Thank you. Just felt like it was a good way to clear my head.
4668738 I find that some of the best poetry and writing comes from writing with feeling/ emotion. :)
