Seven years ago, Sober and I started posting chapters of No Longer Displaced. It's hard to believe it has already been that long, but it's not hard to recognize the profound impact writing that story had on my life. Sober and I randomly hurled our characters into a chat, kept experimenting with those interactions, and within a

    Eyyyy, the 28th.

A year ago, Sober and I finished the NLA publication run. It happened to coincide with my orbit day.

Here's to another year of such an amazing, motivating friendship.

Been working on a website for the No Longer stories, and it's looking quite clean. HTML has come a long way with CSS. :3

    BronyCon 2019: Into the Storm

Hi there! Been a bit! I'll be at BronyCon. For some reason, the convention gave me a panel. It's Physicists Invade Equestria in the Hall of the Moon from 5-6 PM on Thursday. Come on by for some lighthearted science if you're down for it.

And don't worry, I have a nice slip out point for those who want to experience the line for opening ceremonies.

Oh boy... Crystal started a thing, and it's actually a bit challenging for me. The concept is that we target folks we admire, in particular ones that we don't really communicate with a lot. Problem #1: I pretty much talk to everyone. I had to scour my following list to find people who I think I have to poke. Then, I applied a talk-frequency filter to narrow it down. If I talk to you every day... you know I love you and support you like no one's business... I'm looking at you Neurrrn, Rossby, Sober, Tea, even that Matchstick guy.... ;)

So... here I go...

Seriff Pilcrow!
Do you see this person!? Do you see? Click the link and go read. When I read Spectrum of Lightning, a part of me died in the best possible way. Seriously, Seriff's story is fantastic, and I knew immediately that I had to gush like a crazy person about it. We've only had maybe one or two comment exchanges, but I can honestly say, we've got a person right here who has written possibly the most underpushed content on the site. And not only that! But the comments are appreciated too.

Why are you still here? Go read Seriff's shit right now.

The Wandering Bard!
Mmf, every time I run into Bard, it brings me joy. Not only does she write some of the best stories, but she just brings this commitment to the craft and dedication that is absurdly admirable. You're always embracing the characters and you go out of your way to give those little touches -- like stuff literally printed on scrolls -- that makes me smile. Seriously, running into you at cons is on of my favorite things. And I always know it's you because Lyric! :3

Manaphy!
Ya know, I'm pretty happy I came across this little tidbit. I barely ever talk to Manaphy, despite the fact that we share several servers on Discord. Manaphy was also the 15th person I followed on Fimfiction, which makes it even more surprising that the amount of communication has been as small as it has. However, I got to say, you've roped me in with several of your stories. Rebuilding Reunion and After Practice Signals come to mind, though there are some flashes of Politics, An Uninvited Rainbow, Confessions, and some Trixie magic in there too. You just have a huge volume of work, and it is fantastic.

The Albinocorn!
How do I even start this one? Okay... Thinking... More thinking... Got it. Firebird Dahlia is my favorite story on this site. I love it. I could read it over and over and never get bored with it. You have made such a fantastic universe that touches my soul, and I think, as an author on this page who's got a strong following, you probably don't particularly need the extra affirmation. But fuck the rules! I'm a rulebreaker! Shakes hoof at Crystal. I love your stories, and I rejoiced when you finished Dahlia.

Soooo thar we go! It's tagging time!

Don't think I forgot you, Carafluff! I've just gushed a bunch about The Village Called Respite. ;)

Just so you'll know, I'm doing one too, but it's taking me a whole on account that I've been sick for a few days.
