The Today Show allowed Studio B Productions in affiliation with Hasbro to animate a few of their news segments for fun. Apparently the Today Show cast got a real kick out of being turned into pony ocs.

Yeah I remember this. I thought it was a fanmade animation though and not done by animators from the show.
4661174 From what I understand the studio who animates MLP (Studio B Productions) in partnership with Hasbro did these animated shorts as a celebration for the release of both Season 7 and the MLP movie.
