Barcast with me! · 3:34am Aug 30th, 2017

Hey gang,

Man I'm blogging so much. Don't expect that to keep up, but still interesting to note.

Anyways, i'm going to be on the Barcast this Saturday! Apparently they had so much fun with me and Plum, they've asked me to come back.

Anyways, it'll be this Saturday at 7pm (-5GMT) and since i know you're dying to ask me odd and embarrassing questions you can do that too!

The link to the thread is right here. To make it even better, I'm not going to look at the thread at all, so everything will be a surprise to me.

Feel free to ask serious and ridiculous questions as they strike your fancy and I hope to answer them all. along with goofing around with the Barcast of course.

Woot! Yeah, I had a lot of fun on the Barcast and this is a great excuse to keep tuning back in. :D

4653732 The Barcast is a spinoff of the Good HiE list group. They do a weekly podcast where they interview authors and are very silly.

4654622 you're allowed to be wrong.

The Barcast do weekly interviews of (mostly) FiMFiction, but also non-FiMFiction, brony personalities. They're great fun to watch and drink along to, especially live. You should come along if you're not doing anything else

There are six podcasters, although usually only four or five are able to appear on each cast. I don't know if you know any of them, but the most well-known, at least according to their follower counts, are Flutterpriest, Flammenwerfer, and Enigmatic Otaku.

The casts are usually on Fridays, sometimes on Saturdays (it's on Saturday this week), at 7pm EST, and last for two hours. They're broadcast live on Twitch, although are uploaded to YouTube afterwards.

Each week they have a different guest, and in the forum post in the FiMFiction group, absolutely anyone can ask (almost) absolutely anything to the guest. This week obviously the guest is Ferret, and here's the thread to ask her questions. During the cast, Priest will be the one (unless he isn't there) to ask the questions to the guest, and they work their way down through the thread.

So, if you're not busy between 7pm and 9pm EST today (Saturday), you should come along to the stream and listen. Chat's always busy and lively too, which is fun. Also, if you want to ask anything at all to Themaskedferret, you can go and do that in the thread. They'll ask absolutely everything, as long as it isn't religious or political.

The Barcast also has a Discord server, full of nice people (mostly). You should join that as well if you want to talk to cool peeps.

Reading this back, wow... this came out far longer than I realised. The Barcast should probably start paying me to advertise for them :twilightsheepish:. I hope this wasn't too long.

Oh yeah, I can understand that. I'm in Britain, so they're late for me, too.

Well, even if you can't make them live, they're fun to listen to on YouTube.

Unfortunatrly Ferret had to pull out of this week's Barcast a bit last minute, but the podcasters ended up playing a game of Cards Against Humanity with Crystal and Anzel which was still a really amusing stream.
